Put $100 deposit down and got 5% discount added. 4 movers and 26ft truck, high price, so I dropped it to 3 movers because I knew I had 2 buddies that could help lift things. Move started right at 8am, but with only 2 movers..........I was worried. Was told the 3rd wouldn't show up until 11am, o no. Luckily he showed up at 9am and saved the day. Excellent wrappers, they used blankets and plastic wrap for all furniture, very good padding. Cardboard and wrap used on a 9 ft canvas painting by my grandma-in-law(up in heaven) kept it from being damaged at all!!!! Packing the truck was another thing........I wanted to be sure all of the large items that don't fit in vehicles would fit on the truck, so I asked for them to start with mattresses and large items first, had to ask them to repack it tighter multiple times so everything fit. In the end we had the truck completely loaded by noon, drove 20 mins to new house, got sandwiches for all the crew, then had the truck unloaded by 1:45pm when the 3 movers and truck rolled out. I paid $250 for 35K worth of insurance that I ended up not needing, but totally worth in it my eyes if something priceless was damaged. All 3 movers were very personable and open to suggestions. They were strong and worked quick, one of them was on the 1st week on the job. My only recommendation would be to teach how to pack the truck tighter and higher and also thinking about weight limits for the items at the bottom of the truck. Would recommend. read less

Peyton, Nolan, Andrew and Cody all were so kind and helpful from the moment they arrived. Even though I felt a bit embarrassed about how much needed to be moved and unpacked, Nolan and Peyton were so reassuring that they would get through everything I asked! They reminded me that all I had to do was ask and it would be done just the way I wanted it done.😊 read less

They worked very hard under some harsh physical circumstances and never complained and were always jovial. This is a personality business and Josh and Ricky were wonderful! You could not ask for two more professional well-rounded young men! They have a can do attitude and just made everything work without even thinking about it.

They drove from Florida to South Carolina to pick us up and were even going to tow our car for us. They go the extra mile and you don't have to worry about anything with them!

In this business you get what you pay for and the coordination that I got from 2 College Brothers was . Faith did a fabulous job of getting me set up and gave me a comfort level with the whole move. Trevor did a great job keeping me in the loop with who is coming to get me and answered all my questions promptly.

I didn't have to worry about trying to get a container and filling it up and all the logistics that goes with that. So the stress level reduction was also unbelievable, they took all the stress off of my family for about the same cost as getting a portable container pod.

First off, they were very responsive. Trevor (the operations manager) was able to accommodate us for the next day, which was great because we were already driving down from DC and needed help ASAP. The movers (Ryan and CJ) were wonderful. They were on time, professional, wore masks the entire time (a huge concern of mine given COVID and the fact that we have a family member immunosuppressed), moved the items very quickly and with great care. We are only staying in Gainesville for 3 years but will definitely be calling them for when we move again. Would highly recommend them to anyone who has to go through the ordeal of moving. read less

I had three couches, a queen bed, two dressers, a huge office desk, and many more items/boxes. I thought there was no way it was all going to fit inside a 16 ft Pod. Jay and Ryan went above and beyond! They fit all my items inside the Pod, handled them with care, and even left me some room to shove some last minute things in there! I am so impressed! I definitely hired the right people for the job. Worth every penny! They actually saved me money because we thought we would have to get a uhaul trailer in addition to the Pod, but we don’t have to do that now. Great dudes, great company! read less

They took great care with our furniture and antiquities, assuring me they would arrive safely, and they did. They packed the truck very efficiently and we didn’t have to leave anything behind. Jay came along to help us unload and was a delight and a huge help. These guys have a special gift for moving, you will not regret hiring them. The company we had originally scheduled did not show up the day we were moving, and we desperately starting calling other companies in the area. Most companies were busy, understandably, but 2 College Brothers was available to get our furniture and boxes out of our condo that same afternoon, and delivered nearly 400 miles away the next day! I wish I would have booked them in the first place. The movers were great, very friendly and also professional at their work. The employee that assisted us throughout the process was great too, answering all of our questions and getting us moved out that same day. Highly recommend this company all around! read less
