Tips Before You Relocate Your Business
- Ask employees to remove personal belongings from desks
Any valuable items from employees should not be held accountable for when relocating. Politely ask they remove their belongings at least a week before the move. - Dispose of any foods or liquids from common areas
Check any refrigerators or cabinets for expired items and throw them away. - Forward office telephone numbers
If you have to use a new number for your business, be sure to contact your telephone company to forward all calls to your new line. - Set up your internet before you arrive
Plan ahead and be sure your internet (and wifi) is up and running before your employees get settled in. Same thing goes with electricity!
