Ready for a summer adventure? Today is officially two months before the start of summer! Planning for summer can start now!
Plan a Trip:
Remember to book hotels, car reservations, and purchase anything needed for a trip in advance. Hotels and popular locations can fill up and increase in price closer to summer. Booking in advance can save extra money for other parts of the trip or save a better spot that might be unavailable later.
Other items to consider in advance are: tickets (airplane, events), non-perishable supplies (sunscreen, beach chairs, swimsuits), and help for the trip. Talk with friends if you would like help with pet sitting to see if they are available and could schedule it in advance.
Summer camps, concerts, shows, and activities are great for the summer! Check out some local activities below:
Places to Go:
Find places to visit outside home with a location suggestion website to see a wide range of ideas for places to go! Many sites have options to sort how close you would like to travel, the type of activities you are looking for, and important landmarks around the location.
The website above offers an option to plan an entire trip if you already know some of the locations you would like to visit. It can be a great option if you know the start and end destinations and would like to visit some places along the way.
